No booking button? Message them

Many places answer Instagram DMs or the chat button in Naver Map. Or ask your hotel front desk to call for you.

Waiting lines

Join the queue from your phone

When a restaurant in CatchTable shows a Waiting button, you can join the line in the app and get a notice when it's nearly your turn. Head over when you're 2nd or 3rd.

Tablet at the door asks for a Korean number?

Look for a "no Korean number" option or a QR code. If there's none, show the staff the phrase below — most will call your name instead. A Korean eSIM number also works.

한국 번호가 없어요. 이름으로 불러 주세요.

Many famous spots don't take bookings

Deposits and no-shows

Some bookings take a deposit that you lose if you don't show up. Cancel in the app as early as you can — each restaurant sets its own rules.
